eBill passes the four million user mark
About half of the adult population uses eBill. A direct debit for businesses is due by mid-2027.
At the end of June 2026, more than four million people were registered with eBill for the first time. In 2025, around 93 million invoices went through eBill; for 2026, operator SIX expects more than 100 million. 110 banks offer eBill.
The old direct debit schemes LSV+ and BDD will be discontinued on 30 September 2028. By mid-2027, SIX plans to launch a «Business Direct Debit» for companies and help with the switch.
